Vinhas Velhas
The intense ruby color prepares the nose for several layers of red fruit wrapped in forest impressions and subtle hints of Indian ink. Haughty and seductive, in the mouth it proves to be even more intriguing, with an endless juice that with each aftertaste reveals the different hierarchies of fruit and spice. A wine that dazzles us with its elegance and vibrant grace.
Ideal with red meat, game and cheese.
Located near Pinhão, on the right bank of the Douro, Quinta da Boavista has a spectacular view over the river. It is one of the most iconic properties in the demarcated region known, not only for its historical connection to the Baron of Forrester, but also for its 36 hectares of high quality vineyards. From the Ujo vineyard come testimonies of decades and decades of work in favor of the charismatic expression of a unique terroir.
