Intense red color feautures notes of red fruit, such as cherry and plum, combined with touches of chocolate, mocha, coffe and spices, in the mouth i tis full, it has ripe fruit combined with fine but elegant tannis that give it a complex and very persistent stucture. This wine has potential for bottle aging.
GASTRONOMY
It is the ideal companion of dishes of meat, game and cheese.
Entirely produced with the Merlot variety, on clayey-limestone soils, the climatic conditions of the Serra da Arrábida area allow the production of grapes of this variety with a strong local character. A classic, slow and controlled fermentation was carried out, followed by a final fermentation in new “Allier” type French oak barrels. contributed to the excellent integration of grape and wood aromas and flavors. The subsequent prolonged maturation in the same barrels ensured a complementary palate complexity.
