Deep red in color, it has intense aromas dominated by notes of fruit, such as plum compote, cherry and spices. In the mouth it is dense, enveloping, with well marked acidity, structured and persistent. Of note in this dry and warm year, the natural acidity that this "terroir" provides in the maturation and composition of the wines obtaining an excellent balance.
GASTRONOMY
It goies well with meat dishes, game and cheeses.
Among our vineyards of the Syrah grape variety, in the Península de Setúbal, in the municipality of Palmela we selected in the harvest of 2015 grapes from the Tatás vineyard in the middle of September. The wine practices adopted and the "terroir" found here, allowed to obtain low yields of grapes of this variety with very high quality. The grapes rich in aromas, tannins and color were vinified using a classic method of red wine of guard that includes a stage in new barrels of French Allier oak, that in this harvest of 2015 was of 17 months.
