Intense and deep color, even with violet hints. Very complex, intense and lively aroma, where the most ripe red fruits stand out, the balsamic aromas characteristic of the older vines and the spice notes, from the aging in barrels. Palate of great harmony and elegance, dominated by very fine ripe tannins and balanced acidity. It has a very long and persistent finish that, as a whole, allows for a great longevity.
Quinta dos Murças VV47 results from the oldest vertical vineyard planted in the Douro, in 1947 (VV47), facing southeast. The highest expression of the terroir, characterized by elegance, balance and complexity.
