Quinta de Foz de Arouce is located in the municipality of Lousã, in the Beiras region. It is surrounded by the foothills of the Lousã and Penela mountains and is bathed by the Arouce and Ceira rivers where the first flows. The old documents in the house refer to the properties as belonging to the family since the 19th century. XVIII, knowing that some dependencies are older. The current owners, the Counts of Foz de Arouce, parents-in-law of João Portugal Ramos, seek to maintain the hospitable and detached spirit with which they receive in their home and which characterizes the true Portuguese nobility. Wine production is like the continuation of this spirit that is reflected in its commercial philosophy: “with good wine you always make good and true friends”.
