It is a family project where the perspectives and technical knowledge of two generations of winemakers are combined. Thus, João Nicolau de Almeida e Filhos was born, continuing the family's secular presence in Douro wines.

It has an open color, typical of Tinto Cão, with some hints of red color coming from Tinta Francisca. The aroma also differs greatly from the others, with a dominance of exotic, woody fruits and some touches of red fruit. The more you smell, the more aromas appear, showing great complexity. In the mouth it is surprisingly soft, fresh, with tannins typical of Tinto Cão. The finish is very long, with varied dried and red fruits. It is a very elegant wine, which can be enjoyed peacefully and pleasantly.
