Touriga Nacional
The deep color and dense, fresh perfumes of Touriga Nacional awaken our senses. The varietal aromas sometimes send us to the delicacy of the violet, sometimes show us the orange blossom that mixes with the wild fruits - blueberries and blackberries - in a perfect and harmonious symbiosis. In the mouth, the silky textures stand out where, layer after layer of black fruit, we notice the succulence of tannins well matured by time. Follow the nerve of schist geology and the climate where the intense sun breaks through the dewy dawns. It is also the freshness and minerality of wet stone that Touriga Nacional speaks to us, where we are rocked by the sensations of fruit and white spice in the long and precise farewell.
2021 reveals the temperament of a protected vintage, with aromas of bluish fruits ripened with time, with an invigorating freshness and a narrow linear structure that later contrasts with the density and gravity of a slow middle of the mouth and an elegant finish with enormous physical persistence giving " wings" to this beautiful Quinta Nova Reserva Touriga Nacional Red wine. Aging: 9 months in 300 l second year French oak barrels.
