It's the deeper colors of the Touriga Nacional's bluish skins that awaken our eyes, and then the dense and fresh perfumes that are released from among the berries as if traveling in a small cloud until the last drop is calm. The vertical aromas, so unique and unmistakable, sometimes send us to the delicacy of the violet, sometimes they show us the orange blossom that mixes with wild fruits - blueberries and blackberries, all in a symbiosis where harmony and happiness make us dream of the original vines . Silky textures where layer after layer of black fruit we notice the juiciness of well-ripened tannins. It is also the freshness and minerality of wet stone that Touriga Nacional speaks to us, especially in the long and precise farewell where we are lulled by the sensations of fruit and white spice expressed in a happy and shared smile.
The Quinta Nova of Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extreme beauty, in the heart of the Douro, and owned by the Amorim family since 1999.
