Redoma is a Niepoort classic that reflects the elegance, structure and acidity that only a region as diverse as the Douro Valley can express. The color is ruby red, concentrated with violet tones. The nose is delicate and complex. It starts with floral notes, cherry and rhubarb to later reveal notes of tobacco, graphite and spices. In the mouth it is structured, round and precise. The balanced acidity promises longevity and the finish is long and spicy.

Redoma tinto is Niepoort’s original Douro wine, first released in 1991. It is like Douro: "extreme, with a rigorous character". Old north-facing vineyards from Quinta de Nápoles and Pinhão Valley form the basis of Redoma. Its main varieties are Tinta Amarela, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca.
