Terrenus Reserva presents dark granade color. A very intense and complex aroma, notes of black fruits, balsamic and spicy aromas of the barrel. Palate with good structure, ripe and soft tannins, good freshness, long persistence.
From the beginning of my career as an oenologist, I am involved in the Portalegre region. The passion, not only for the wines, but also for the region always woke me up - my first vintage was made at Tapada do Chaves in 1991. Terrenus is produced here from old vines with very low production strains located in the Serra de S. Mamede, of the self-chaste varieties, in a total of 18 grape varieties. The expression of a special "terroir" different from the Alentejo, capable of making distinct wines with a more elegant, fresher, more balanced profile.
