Also, a lot of spice made of white pepper and clove, as well as black cherry and floral notes of roses. Dense and powerful in the mouth with notes of spice, tea, and tobacco. The impressive structure, sculpted tannins and refined acidity, foresee an excellent development in bottle. A little reserved, needing some time to reveal all its greatness.
Vinha do Souto is a wine made from grapes from the selective vintage of plots where very special and special conditions are recognized. It deals with some specific areas of Alicante Bouchet and Syrah, where the reduced vigor of the vineyard and the low yields, allow to produce grapes and wines that, maintaining the profile naturally fresh of the mountain range, have a concentration and complexity absolutely remarkable.
