QUINTA DE AZEVEDOIn 1980, Sogrape Vinhos acquires the Honra de Azevedo, located in the parish of Lama, Barcelos, one of the oldest and most magnificent Portuguese plots, originating in the eleventh century. In order to be transformed into the prestigious space for the reception of customers and the construction of a production center in the Vinho Verde Region, representing the development of a significant presence of Sogrape Vinhos in this region, Solar and Quinta have benefited for some of four years of meticulous works of restoration, requalification and decoration at the same time that vineyards were planted. At the time, Fernando Guedes directed the planting of the vineyards, as well as the installation of a modern wine-making center, with excellent conditions to produce Greens that are increasingly fresh and elegant, corresponding to the dominant taste of consumers. Currently, Alvarinho and Loureiro are planted grape varieties, occupying more than 30 hectares.

Bright light yellow color. Exuberant aroma of ripe stone fruit, with notes of apricot or very ripe red peach. Also noteworthy are the notes from the aging in wood. In the mouth it comes full and with a lot of volume. Again, emphasis on the ripe stone fruit, but very fresh, which allows it to withstand all the intensity. Finishes long and persistent.

It is ideal to accompany elaborate dishes, with some intensity or even spices. It goes well with roasted fish and grilled meats, with some fat. It can also be enjoyed with intense cheeses.
