This farm, located on the border between the Vinhos Verdes and the Douro region, has 10 hectares of vineyards in shale soil, giving rise to an old and prestigious brand that has been walking a bit in the shade over the past years. Montez Champalimaud family is giving a new lease of life to Paço do Teixeiró (and the “sister” brand, the famous Quinta do Côtto) and the debut couldn't be better, with a white full of character and vibrancy Made with Avesso (80%) and Loureiro (20%), has a very pure and fine profile, with granitic notes, hints of lemonade and citrus peel, some vegetable and flowers from the field In the mouth a wine is still closed and serious, with a balanced body for many freshness, vibrant, long, precise and firm finish A happy return from a brand with a history.
