This is a delicate wine, vibrant with balance and freshness, with almost imperceptible notes of wood, voluminous, and with sufficient concentration suggesting its provenance from the oldest vines of the Barragem and Mouchão Velho vineyards. Interestingly, the DOC system has not yet recovered the century-old tradition of the variety in Alentejo, hence the use of the Vinho Regional Alentejano classification.

Extremely pleasant in its youth, this Verdelho will improve with time in bottle, maybe even a decade. To accompany seafood, fish, cold dishes, salads, fresh asparagus.
