From green lime, it has a floral and fruity aroma with notes of green apple and citrus, a slight grapefruit and lime. There are also reflective mineral notes or soil (flint and graphite). In the mouth it shows unctuousness and minerality with a lively and persistent finish.

Pairs well with white meats, seasoned fish, cod and seafood.

Quinta do Cardo wines represent the identity of Beira Interior. The organic production method for Quinta do Cardo wines, a pioneer in Portugal, allows the preservation of native fauna and flora, promoting the biodiversity of our agricultural ecosystem, with a strong impact on the final quality of the wines produced here. In the 1930s, the first wine was produced at Quinta do Cardo, which was called Branco Maia. In 1986 the first white under the Quinta do Cardo brand was bottled and in 1988 the first red. The brand's fame skyrocketed and quickly became one of the great Portuguese wines, giving much prestige and strength to the then unknown Beira Interior.
