Rui Roboredo Madeira
An aromatic and smooth wine, offering a balance of citrus and tropical fruits such as passion fruit and mango, with a subtle hint of vanilla; on the palate, it is enveloping with a pleasant finish. Ideal on its own as an aperitif with savoury snacks amongst friends, and also with fish dishes, sushi, curries and white meats in general.
Grapes from old vines, grown organically at an altitude of over 700 metres. Schist soils with clay and veins of quartz. A ‘field blend’, where various grape varieties are interplanted in the vineyard alongside white and red grapes, perfectly adapted to the harsh climate and nutrient-poor soil, making irrigation unnecessary.
