COLOR: Dark Brown. NOSE: Notes of walnut, blackberries and light nuances of smoke. PALATE: Bitter and sweet aromas, with hints of caramel and mint. It develops into a bitter taste of quinine and spices like cinnamon. FINISH: Long with notes of quinine, mint and smoked caramel.
Created in 1949, it is an “amaro” (bitter) Liqueur made from an artichoke base (cynara scolymus) and an alcoholic infusion of 13 herbs and flats, rich in aromas and very versatile, and can be drunk neat or in cocktails, both as an aperitif and digestive.
