Elegant and meticulous, this Reserva has a ruby color, a spicy nose on a background of red fruit with floral memories, which are darned in the glass. In the mouth it expands with freshness, highlighting the well shaded fruit with soft but firm tannins, which give the whole a great range. A graceful wine, full of sophistication.

Located near Pinhão, on the right bank of the Douro, Quinta da Boavista has a spectacular view over the river. It is one of the most iconic properties in the demarcated region, known not only for its historical connection to the Baron of Forrester, but also for its 36 hectares of high quality vineyards. Reserva is the 'backbone' of this Quinta's portfolio and is the result of a blend made with grapes from old and newer vines. As with the other wines from Quinta da Boavista, the Reserva aged in French oak barrels followed by at least a year in bottle.
